A 1979 multi-media presentation to the national convention of movie theatre owners and operators garnered a review in Daily Variety, enthusing that "anyone can push back his limitations" using such methods. George Burns was honored as "Entertainer of the Century", and Rick was on the bill next.

Wrote, produced and narrated recruiting and internal training videotapes for clients from Sprint to JD Reece Realtors.

Recurring memory expert on KMBC TV's morning show with Olivia Dorsey. Guest appearances on KCTV and KSHB. Featured in a WDAF-TV's Hometown People.

Wrote, produced, and narrated over 500 one-hour weekly FM radio programs, including commercials for a variety of advertisers.

1988-1993 Voiceprint Records and Tours
As a co-founder, his responsibilities included creating press releases, bios, catalogs, contracts, CD labels & covers, product one-sheets, tour updates, and newsletters.

In 1993, the label was stolen from him and went on to become the largest independent record label in England (18$M sales in 2001.)
